Resources and Recommended Readings

At Discourse Psychology Centre, our clinicians love to read. We’ve curated a selection of books that our clinicians often use in their practice, or recommend to their clients for clarity, clinical grounding, and general usefulness for people navigating mental health concerns.

Some books are written for general readers, while others are more psychoeducational in nature.

Reading is not a substitute for therapy. That said, we strongly believe that finding the right book at the right time can help deepen your self-understanding, normalize difficult experiences and support the work that you are doing in sessions.
