Virtual Psychologist in Ontario
Discourse Psychology Centre provides virtual psychological services to adults, adolescents, and couples across Ontario. Our registered psychologists deliver evidence-based therapy over secure telehealth, bringing care to you anywhere in the province. You can skip the commute and the waitlist for a local office.
Access, Wherever You Are in Ontario
Access is one of the biggest barriers to mental health care in Ontario. In smaller and rural communities, a registered psychologist may be an hour’s drive away. Even then, they may be booked out for months. Even in larger centres like Toronto, Ottawa, Hamilton, and London, availability can be scarce. Virtual therapy removes geography from the equation: with a private space, an internet connection or even just a phone, you can access one-on-one evidence based care, wherever you live.
Serving Communities Across the Province
We work with clients throughout Ontario and maintain dedicated pages for several of the communities we serve most, including Mississauga, Oakville, and Milton.
If you don’t see your area, but you live in Ontario, the answer is most often yes.
What we Treat
Our registered psychologists work with adults and adolescents across Ontario on concerns including anxiety and panic, depression and low mood, trauma and PTSD, OCD, ADHD, emotion regulation, and life transitions.
We also offer couples therapy and discernment counselling for partners deciding whether to repair or separate.
Couples therapy is also available for partners navigating conflict, communication challenges, disconnection, or considering separation or divorce.
Our Approach
Care at Discourse is collaborative and evidence-based, drawing on Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), tailored to each client. Sessions are led by Dr. Belal Zia and our associate clinicians, all registered with, or supervised by psychologists registered with, the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario. We’re also committed to culturally responsive care for Ontario’s diverse communities.
